You may have seen a tuning fork before and associated it with traditional musical instruments. Acting as instruments themselves, tuning forks have become a healing tool.
A few months back we spoke about the Schumann Resonance in our post here. Today we introduce the 'Ohm Frequency'.
Ohm Frequency is calculated on the Earth's yearly orbit around the sun and the Eastern spiritual traditions. Known as the primordial sound in Hindu cosmology, the Ohm has become a universally recognised symbol representing sacred vibrations.
The creator of Ohm Therapeutics, Marjorie de Muynck has written literature and created music based on indigenous and acoustic world instruments.
The Ohm Frequency is based on the elliptical orbit of the earth as it travels around the sun through 4 seasons and has been described by her as our "musical centre of gravity.”
Winfried Otto Schumann predicted the Schumann Resonance, a series of electromagnetic resonances (or noise vibrations) generated by lightning discharges in the cavity formed by the Earth's surface and the ionosphere, where the atmosphere reaches space. It's sometimes known as "Earth's Heartbeat".
Below is a table of comparison between these two theories:
Theories, specifically within Taoism and Qigong, suggest each human is a microcosm of the universe. In the cosmos - being the planets - energy is moving in circles. In the body, energy mirrors this circular movement pattern and can be known as 'microcosmic orbit'.
Suggested microcosmic orbits are demonstrated as per the above image. When it comes to healing power and sound, tuning forks are one way of connecting specific sound vibrations to this field. Sometimes this is through physically placing an activated fork on the body and sometimes this is achieved through the sound of activated the fork's frequency, itself.
With the aim to maintain or regain a calm and connected state of consciousness this practice of tuning forks has been utilised for realigning with our bodies innate frequency, best for healing.
Maybe following this you might see yourself as similar to an instrument, which can be tuned in order to best radiate as well absorb optimum frequencies.
